Classic Style

  • San Francisco’s iconic Painted Ladies were built between 1849 and 1915.

These large homes were given a new lease of life in the 1960s and 70s when artists living in the Haight Ashbury and Pacific Heights areas began painting them bright colours. The colourful exteriors transformed whole neighbourhoods and have remained desirable, sought after accommodation ever since. When imagining new multi-family units on the Saanich Peninsula our architects and designers drew inspiration from these West Coast icons. The Painted Ladies of Sidney-by-the-Sea incorporate the same fun, bright colours, and architectural elements. The three buildings are all different, but when viewed together complement and enhance the neighbourhood.

The interiors of each of the 30 units are a contemporary condo-style, with neutral colours and featuring stainless steel appliances.
